Identity and transaction records are retained after closure to satisfy anti-money-laundering, accounting and tax obligations — normally six years, and up to ten years for transaction records. This is set out in the Privacy Policy and is not something we can waive.

Withdraw your funds first. Closing an account does not move money for you. Transfer any remaining balance out before you submit this request.
